Today, Sunday July 25th, marks 100 days until the 150th Melbourne Cup.
The next 100 days are sure to be amongst the most exciting on the Australian racing calendar, as we work towards the 150th running of the Emirates Melbourne Cup.
Just Horse Racing will be joining the celebrations by providing the most comprehensive and relevant coverage of the race that stops the nation.
We will be talking to the trainers, jockeys and owners about many of the horses likely to line up for the race that stops the nation.
And as a special feature, from today, Just Horse Racing will recap the last 25 Melbourne Cups, with one every few days. The last recap, of last year’s Melbourne Cup, will be released four days before the 2010 Melbourne Cup, setting the stage for one of the most memorable races in recent memory.
We will be looking at the markets, the early betting, the lead up races, and the preparations of the winner as we attempt to use history to help us find the winner of the Melbourne Cup.
